PARENT TIP THURSDAY //
Being a parent often means having self-awareness of your own beliefs and attitudes. Here’s three things to work through to prepare you to share money skills with your kids:
1. Understand the difference between important and essential. Money wellness is an essential part of living life. It is not just an important skill to master.
2. Come to grips with your own attitudes towards money. How do you feel about it? Is it good, powerful, a tool, an opportunity, a source of frustration?
3. Get consistent about how to model, act, speak about money. Your consistent example is the most powerful tool you have to teach with.
